Astronomical observations

Two nights of observations will be proposed during the workshop, priority to PhD students (about 10 places). The objective is to initiate young researchers to the specific constraints of astronomical observations.

The objective is to observe an H II region (cloud of ionized gas) and to interpret its visible spectrum in terms of temperature and density. 2 remote sessions will precede the observations in order to prepare them, and the data will be reduced and interpreted during the workshop.

Please indicate while registering if you intend to participate (eric.josselin.AT.umontpellier.fr).
