The workshop will start on May 20, 2025 at 3pm and end on May 23, 2025 at 11am.

How to get to the Observatoire de Haute Provence

By car: GPS applications easily find the Observatoire de Haute Provence.

By train + workshop shuttle: Take a train to the “Avignon TGV” station (note: different station from “Avignon Centre”). From there you can take the shuttle bus specially chartered for the workshop.

Shuttle timetable :

Outward journey on May 20, 2025 1.00 pm: Avignon TGV > OHP, departure from Avignon TGV station at 13:00, arrival at OHP around 14:30.

Return on May 23, 2025 11.30pm: OHP > Avignon TGV, departure from OHP at 12pm, arrival at Avignon TGV around 1:30pm.

* The shuttle's 1h30 travel time is a minimum and may vary according to traffic conditions. Please allow time for your return train schedule.

If you can't take the shuttle, public transport is available from Manosque, Avignon-centre (bus station), Aix-en-Provence and Marseille. Journeys from Aix-en-Provence and Marseille are long (between 2 and 3 hours), with bus changes. We therefore strongly encourage you to make arrangements to take advantage of the workshop shuttle.

Accommodation:

The workshop will take place at OHP. We'll be staying in single rooms, with all meals provided on site.

Lunch on Tuesday, May 20: For early arrivals, it will be possible to register for lunch at OHP. Users of the workshop shuttle bus are responsible for their own lunch.

Lunch on Friday May 23: it will be possible to register either for lunch on site, or for a packed lunch available before the shuttle departs.

A form will be distributed in April to register for the shuttle bus and for the lunches on May 20 and 23.
